The Governing Body is the key strategic decision-making body in the school whose responsibility it is to set the strategic framework and ensure the school meets all its statutory duties and responsibilities. Raising achievement is at the heart of the Governing Body’s strategy to ensure that every child receives the best possible education.

The Governing Body devolves some of its work to the Operations Working Group. All key decisions are ratified by the Full Governing Body (FGB).
In addition, small specialists groups are formed to assess Headteacher performance, complaints, SEN and safeguarding, health and safety and exclusions.
